Training Testimonials

Oscar-Worthy Workshops
“APADRC is definitely helping grow and shape our community. It is the best organization to bring workshops of this nature, with such low cost and solely for the purpose of enhancing our community.  APADRC deserves an Oscar!”

Training Effective Mediators
“Every mediation has a unique character influenced by the cultural perspectives of its participants. A mediator’s own inter cultural conflict management style plays a very important part in the success of the mediation process. I learned so much in the brief time we had together. Thank you to APADRC.”

Meaningful Diversity and Communication Training
“We loved you! Folks were really moved. I think what we got out of it was more than worth the money and hopefully we can invite you back in the future.  Afterwards we moved on and were successful in our goals.”

Warm Environment
“I told my family that I felt like I was at a church function because of the openness and warmth that was present in the room. In fact, I felt it was more open than some church environments I’ve been in. Great job!”

Online Mediation Training
“This was my first “online” course I’ve ever taken, and it was a great experience. It was engaging and helpful. It has a very good set of materials that supplemented the in-person training. I appreciated being able to go at my own pace. I thought the videos were great at explaining concepts and this was reinforced by the PowerPoint!”

Friendly Facilitators
“Both facilitators were great at keeping the energy high, positive and keeping the day going.
I appreciated their ability to show us on the spot reflection and reframing skills just by talking and doing their thing. Great facilitation skills for a workshop! Great communication skills and gentleness with the participants.”

Diverse Learning With Workshop Attendees
“I really enjoyed sharing the experience with a diverse crowd… It was amazing to encounter communication styles that were very different (even in our self-selected crowd of folks who are interested in mediation training). It was so great to think through how I identify in the world and hear others speak to where they are coming from. I found it to be a very creative way to accomplish many things at once.”
