Conversity Awardees

Every year at our annual fundraiser, Conversity, APADRC gives away three awards to three astonoshing individuals in the community. This year, we are awarding Dr. Faith Kim, Faith Kim and Ed Lew, Esq. Clink on the link below to read more about these influential leaders in our community. Our honorees embody the spirit of Conversity through their positive contributions to human relations and conflict resolution, and they have also dedicated part of their lives to building peace in our communities.

Mr. Jae Whan Yoo from the Wilshire State Bank will receive the Corporate Leadership Award for achieving a high level of corporate success while also making a positive impact on the community. The Diversity Leadership Award will be given to Dr. Faith Kim. She is dedicated to bringing diversity and culture to religious studies by developing a program addressing contemporary cultural challenges for Christian ministry at the Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. Last but not least, Ed Lew, Esq. will receive Community Leadership Award for his lifelong leadership roles in various community organizations, such as UCLA Asian Pacific American Law Journal, USCLA Asian Pacific Islander Law Student Association, OCA-GLA, and Asian Pacific American Bar Association (APABA).
