SUMMARY:Bridging the Gap: What is Diversity\, Equity\, and Inclusion?
DESCRIPTION:Hosted by the Council of Korean Americans (CKA) and Korean American Coalition – Los Angeles (KAC)\, this two-hour summit is intended to engage Korean American college students\, recent graduates\, and young professionals with a discussion on DEI and its relevance to the national discourse on race relations and anti-Asian sentiment. Some of the topics we are planning to cover include inward-facing issues such as intergenerational dynamics and intercultural conflicts within the Korean American community and outward-facing topics such as the Atlanta spa shooting\, discrimination against Asians with regards to the Covid-19 pandemic\, and anti-Asian sentiment in general.  \nCatch up with fellow ING alumni\, Ulia Ahn and Scott Lee\, as they reflect upon their experiences from last year’s program and share their life updates.
