DESCRIPTION:Become an advocate for a survivor of sexual assault. Volunteer Advocates are trained and supported while serving with YWCA GLA\, SACS. They have the opportunity to improve the life of survivors by advocating for the services and support survivors need. \nTASKS:\n• 24-hour crisis line\n• Hospital Accompainments for support\nduring a forensic medical exam. \nBENEFITS:\n• FREE Training\n• Be part of an international organization.\n• Give back to communities impacted by\nviolence.\n• Receive a letter of recommendation.\n• Grow personally and professionally. \nREQUIREMENTS:\n• 18+ years of age\n• Background Check\n• Complete 55-hour training\n• No previous experience required.
