These concrete actions will provide a dynamic way to increase engagement across neighborhoods and support efforts to stand up to hate in our communities. \nThe social media toolkit for United Against Hate Week is open to all participants\, and we encourage you to be involved in any way that you can. \nFor more information and to learn how to take action against hate\, please visit our United Against Hate Week page. \nPurpose of this Toolkit\nTo build awareness of LA vs. Hate and United Against Hate week with partner organizations\, community leaders and help drive engagement and action amongst these communities through social media platforms such as Facebook\, Twitter\, and Instagram. \nThis toolkit will provide communities who have witnessed or experienced acts of hate with information on how to report acts of hate by dialing 2-1-1.

Join us on Monday\, November 15\, 2021 from 4:00pm to 5:30pm PT for a conversation about the causes and impacts of\, and prevention methods for anti-trans violence. In celebration of Trans Day of Remembrance\, speakers will discuss historical manifestations of anti-trans ideologies and how this escalates to physical and emotional violence against trans and gender-nonconforming individuals. With our speakers\, we will unpack the barriers faced by trans and gender-nonconforming folks when seeking support and healing resources\, and discuss possible changes to the ways in which trauma responders\, allies\, and others can better provide support to those affected by anti-trans violence and harassment.
