Wings Against Hate: Relational Organizing Through Art

FREE Community Art Activation as part of

2023 United Against Hate Week x LA County Parks’ Harvest Festival collaboration at Don Knabe Park location

Created in partnership by A Window Between Worlds (AWBW) & Asian Pacific American Dispute Resolution Center (APADRC), Wings Against Hate is an art activation launched to break isolation and build community in the face of ongoing and increasing acts of hate.

Wings Against Hate centers around the creation of shared wings of change as participants join together to build a collective art activation. Community members will have the opportunity to design their own individual wings against hate to uplift sustained action and community connection. Eligible community members will be able to participate in a special challenge and win their own Art Activation Toolkit!

Discover the transformative impact of durational art as a tool for community dialogue surrounding sensitive topics, such as hate. This event provides an opportunity to learn more about our mission, connect with like-minded individuals, and take part in an innovative initiative that empowers individuals to build personalized support networks. Bring your friends, family, and a positive spirit as we spread wings of love and support during this special week dedicated to unity!
