Child Development class in English
This class will go over how to understand important milestones in child development so that parents/guardians can act early. The workshop will also offer resources, encouragement and many ideas on how to help the child develop. The class will be in person, register by calling us at 213.438.5570. Strategies to Increase Family Positivity
The importance of building and maintaining positive, trusting parent-child relationships that stress attachment and attunement is balanced with the need to assist our children with developing emotional regulation, self-esteem and behavioral control. The following strategies will be presented utilizing a trauma lens, including examples and role plays: Child-led play and reflective listening; Praise and encouragement; Pre-teaching and shared decision-making; and De-escalation.
